Adult Classes: Ballet

Ballet Fundamentals:
This class will introduce the fundamentals of ballet dance by learning technique through barre work, adagio and allegro combinations, across the floor work, basic ballet terminology and an overall lesson in balance, grace and ballet etiquette.

Beginning/Ballet I:
This class is designed for students with some ballet experience. All students are welcome; levels will adjust to student preferences and abilities. Barre work, center, stretching and traveling exercises included.

Intermediate/Ballet II:
This faster paced class offers a thorough warm up at the barre with an emphasis on placement. Center exercises focus on longer, more complex combinations with a focus on musicality and honing the dancer’s technique, challenging each student to grow and improve at their own individual pace.

This is an intermediate to advanced level class that is technically demanding and is for the serious dancer — however it is open to all.

Ballet III:
This class is designed to instruct, challenge and support an intermediate/advanced student in the art and practice of classical ballet. The program develops the technique, knowledge, and skills of a dancer.

Fierce Ballet II/III:
A wonderful slow placement class. The class starts slow and progresses to a faster pace, while working on repetitive barre standing as well as strength and placement.
