Chloe Kunes

Kunes(bwedit)Chloe’s love of dance began when she was three years old at the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy in suburban Philadelphia. There, she studied ballet, hip hop, and tap. It wasn’t until her family moved to Chicago that she discovered the Joel Hall Dancers and Center and her love of jazz.

In 2011, Chloe became a member of the Joel Hall Dancers Youth Company at age 12- the youngest member at the time. She began teaching at JHDC as an assistant in 2012. In 2013, Chloe was one of 30 dancers selected from over 400 auditions as a member of the Chicago High School for the Arts dance conservatory class of 2017.   There, she studied ballet and modern, in addition to her studies at JHDC.

Chloe is thrilled to begin her first year as a JHDC instructor following her 2014 summer intensive at the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, PA.
