Joel Hall Dancers & Center offers one of the most extensive dance & movement curricula in the Midwest. Whether you are an avid dancer … someone who just enjoys dancing recreationally … or someone new to the dance world altogether … we offer Modern Jazz Dance, Ballet, Hip Hop, Modern (Horton/Graham based), Musical Theater and Tap. Plus, Joel Hall’s unique signature urban dance style — based in jazz and expressing a rich vocabulary embracing both classical & modern idioms. Students of all ages will learn terminologies, proper technique, body awareness, strengthening and movement control.

July 14 “Bastille Day” Gala Masked Ball to Benefit JHDC

SDBMMasqueradeBallAn elegant, swanky evening of fun & memories awaits on Tuesday, July 14 from 7-10 p.m. if you say — “Jazz” — and step into the Vertigo Sky Lounge … high atop the Dana Hotel in downtown Chicago.

Please get your tickets NOW and plan to join us for our “Bastille Day” Gala to celebrate 40 years of Joel Hall Dancers & Center.  The view from the roof of the Dana Hotel is spectacular … and will crown an evening brimming with laughter, fond memories & new friendships.

The masked soiree includes a drink ticket, appetizers, a sparkling wine toast … and will also include a prize for best costume — (with Joel Hall himself selecting the winner.)  Additionally, there will be raffle prizes and a spectacular silent auction.  (For those wanting a fuller meal and more drinks, the bar will have a complete menu of entrees & specialty drinks available.)

The “Bastille Day” Masked Ball extravaganza will benefit the ongoing mission of Joel Hall Dancers & Center — a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Chicago, Illinois — which relies on generous community support to fund it’s programming & performances.
